  3. Instagram finally released the “save draft” feature. All you have to do is upload a photo, edit it and then hit the back button to save the photo. It’s that simple. Despite being a relatively minor change, this feature will allow businesses prepare their posts in advance of publishing.
     
  4. Snapchat has been renamed to Snap Inc. and the word "chat" has now been removed. But that’s not all: Snapchat is preparing to move beyond its social-sharing app by releasing its first hardware product, Spectacles, their own video-recording sunglasses. According to Mashable, Spectacles will allow the wearer to record up to 30 seconds of video and post it directly to the Snapchat app. It will cost $129.99 and supplies will be limited.
     
  5. Twitter finally announced that photos, videos, GIFs and Quote Tweets no longer count towards the 140-character limit. However, keep in mind that this does not apply for promoted Tweets.
     
  6. Google releases a new smart messaging app for all iPhone and Android users, Allo, that allows you to say and do more right in your chat. Apart from sending stickers designed by artists around the world, changing the size of your reply to express emotions, being creative with your photos etc., Allo’s hottest feature is Google Assistant. Google Assistant allows you to keep your conversations going without interruption. For instance, simply tap “@google restaurants” in your chatbox and then Google Assistant will reveal a selection of restaurants within your location. And these are just a few features of Allo. Its greatest advantage is that you can do everything within just one free app.
